Mystery of UFO sightings 32 years ago, no more just a scientific experiment a number of students a school, according to a man who claimed responsibility for the apparition in the sky Manawatu, 1979 ago.
In April 1979 night, the appearance of orange light across the sky visible to the Hokowhitu Aokautere.
Government documents released (23/12/2010) It specifies that it is a mysterious light balloon meteorological radar out of service.

He said that in these schools, a science teacher is making a hot air balloon from tissue paper, cardboard, wire and cotton.

By using the heating of the Bunsen burner, the balloons are released into the atmosphere.
Around April or May 1979, the students decided to release the balloon at night because it will look better.
By filling a variety of colors on paper towels into the balloon, the students can create a virtual kaleidoscope in the night sky, from the balloon to the size of a shoe box of a refrigerator.
The balloons were meliak-contortion passed over the sky and glide away, so that it looks like a foreign plane that cruised into the distance. "We often times release some balloons at the same time, the look-V formation," said McCrea, a case quoted by stuff.co.nz. Oddly enough one of these sightings in April 1979, consists of three light passing formed a formation. There are also some reports from other media explaining the emergence of light in the sky at night as well.
"We think this is very funny."
McCrea, who now lives in Kapiti coast, saying that he himself took off about eight or nine balloon-like which was also carried by 15 of his friends.

While this number of skeptics do not rule out the possibility of other life forms that are in one place, at least UFO sightings still unexplained. "Most of the apparitions seen by those who can not explain it," he said.
"You do not have to fool to fool," said Ms Hyde, giving encouragement to people who have seen things that can not be described to keep an open mind about what they had witnessed.
Another UFO sighting occurred in Palmerston North in June 1972, when Jon Watson was 17 years old. He has seen three silver objects flew past about 1000 feet above his head. "Initially, I felt frightened," he told the Manawatu Standard at the time.
"We follow the three foreign aircraft with our eyes around a quarter of an hour. They appear alongside each other with a short distance away. "
Gregory Key, fifteen-year students, Freyberg High School also has seen "a silver object that is spinning" on top of Pahiatua on 15 June in the same year.
