Diagnosis Related Groups (DRGs) is a way of payments to health care providers for services provided regardless of the amount of action, but a grouping of medical services into a fee scale according to the disease. The components of cost in preparing the DRGs among others:
* Length of hospitalization days for each of the DRGs for both routine and special treatments
* Perdiem costs for both routine and special treatments
* Estimated cost, support services (laboratory, radiology, anesthesia, and others)
Before determining the DRG will be assigned Clinicial Pathway namely the identification of interventions based on the Standard Operating Procedure / Clinical Guidelines, both the nature and amount of use of its resources, from reception to the patient's home. Indonesia has had its 1077 DRG code which is divided in 789 tariff codes for inpatient, 288 for outpatient care .................
