The push for the General Chairman of the Football Association of Indonesia (PSSI), Nurdin Halid back getting stronger after Indonesia failed to win the AFF Cup 2010. In fact, there is a petition in the network (online) for Nurdin retreat.

Site www.nurdinturun.co.cc / index.php # emerge since December 30, 2010. In a front-page written question: "You Nurdin Halid Setujukan CS out of the stewardship of PSSI?" Until the news was revealed, the number of givers petition reaches 4086.

To join the petition, The access must include electronic mail, name, and city. Thus, managers expect one person to fill a petition only once.

Despite demands for more rapid retreat, Nurdin insisted fight. "Let me say once again I will never resign," Nurdin said after the match AFF Cup final match between Indonesia against Malaysia, Wednesday (29/12).

So what's in it became Chairman of the PSSI. Former Head of Organization PSSI Tondo Widodo also have a comment. "Chairman of PSSI's prestige of office," said Tondo when contacted on Monday (3 / 1).

Tondo assess the position PSSI chairman promises a bright future. Therefore, football is the most popular sport in Indonesia. Thus, said Tondo, people who became Chairman of the PSSI will get a name fragrant in the eyes of society if they are successful in the PSSI.

Tondo consider what happens to Nurdin was also not much different. Tondo see any indication of the general chairman position PSSI became a springboard for political careers Nurdin. "It was like she had worn as a political investment," said Tondo. Nurdin himself said: "It's the people who accused me of political had political interests."

In addition, continued Tondo, PSSI was promised economic benefits. "Because the sponsor is so big," said Tondo.

According to the Deputy Secretary-General for Finance and Accounting PSSI Achsanul Qosasih PSSI, PSSI reap a profit of about USD 70-10 billion. However, Achsanul can not ensure the numbers because he has not received its official calculations.

According to Democratic Party politicians, the PSSI received approximately USD 10 billion from the AFF Cup last month. Earlier, Chairman of the Local Committee for AFF Cup Driyono Joko said of the ticket sales from the AFF Cup, PSSI profit reached Rp 20 billion. However, according to Achsanul, the fund has not been reduced bonuses and other players.

PSSI has been well received income through sponsorship Indonesian Super League. Company Djarum Indonesia Super League as a sponsor to disburse Rp 37.5 billion. This amount increased from Indonesian Super League before reaching USD 35 billion. Value of sponsorship does not include sponsorship of the newspaper and PT Top Score MAP.

In addition, the PSSI received income from subsidies Indonesia International Football Federation (FIFA) worth Rp 2.3 billion for one year.

Every year, PSSI also get fresh funds from the State Budget of Rp 20 billion each year. PSSI also reap revenue from the club because of the violations committed by Indonesian Super League players.

Despite continued to receive adequate funding, the achievement of the Indonesian national team in the leadership of Nurdin's not too bright. Since the PSSI chairman Nurdin be in 2003, Indonesian football famine achievement. At the level of Southeast Asia, Indonesia was never a champion, especially in the SEA Games and the AFF Cup formerly known as the Tiger Cup.

Poor performance of national team does not necessarily make Nurdin legowo to reverse. Unlike the case with PSSI chairman 1982-1983 Sjarnoebi Said. Sjarnoebi with knights resigned though still remaining term of office for two years for the Indonesian national team failed in Pre-Olympic Games in 1983.

The same is done PSSI chairman Azwar Anas 1991-1999. Azwar stepped down in September 1998 after the Garuda team failed to enter the final in the Tiger Cup (now the AFF Cup) in 1998.

Meanwhile, Chairman of the PSSI 1999-2003 Agum Gumelar refused to be nominated again PSSI chairman in 2003.

TERDAPAT cerita lucu sekaligus penuh simbol tentang asal-muasal gamelan gambang.

For achive International Standard, the Hospital must meet the 1100 Indicators

Health Minister Endang Rahayu Sedyaningsih 1100 stating there is an indicator that a hospital must meet to become a hospital of international standard. For that, it is now "train" the hospitals with the potential to achieve that standard.

These indicators''that we will practice little by little. So every hospital, 1,100 These indicators should be trained and see which one has achieved and what is not achievable,''said Endang.

For the three government hospitals are projected to become an international hospital - Cipto Mangunkusumo Hospital, Land Force Central Hospital, and Hospital Sanglah Bali - Endang claimed to have assessed the achievement of the indicators that must be met to become an international standard hospital.''The bigger the hospital the difficult to reach international standards,''he said.

Because the hospital of international standard not only because of sophisticated tools but also must meet the other indicators. Endang cite one indicator is the door of the room must have a standard width for the evacuation of patients. ''While the hospital has been established, can not be dismantled right?''he said. International hospital also must meet standards of quality, safety and technology.

Meanwhile, the cost of the process to become an international hospital to say expensive. ''It takes a fund of about USD 3 - USD $ 5 billion depending on the size of the hospital,''he said. For government-owned hospitals will be given a subsidy for trainings.

Djakarta 1966: Soekarno was everything Soeharto was not

Photo credit: Pengkhianatan G-30-S PKI, Arifin C Noer's most prominent film

After seeing a bad movie, Djakarta 66 is kind of revelation. History, by any definition is written by the ruler, however, time is always the winner.

Djakarta 66 was made by Arifin C Noer in 1988 (JB Kristanto's version is 1982, however the credit in the film states 1988 which is more reliable, I guess), telling a [his]tory about the controversial Supersemar. Kineforum screens the film today and 9 January 2011 as part of the #decompression programme, an anniversary celebration by collective ruangrupa. Lisabona Rahman with filmmaker, Anggun Priambodo work hand in hand to curate a film programme about Jakarta. With my usual gang, we were watching the 35mm format with mixed feeling. I found the film funny yet brave. Another found it great and amusing. Djakarta 66 is the third of New Order (or rather, Soeharto's trilogy). The first film is Serangan Fajar, made in 1981, followed by notorious Pengkhianatan G-30-S PKI in 1982.

Djakarta 66 focuses on the political events after the failed coup d'etat by allegedly Indonesian communist party. Jakarta streets were full of students' demonstrations. Universitas Indonesia as main camp of student organisations such as KAMI sent thousands of their students to Bogor Palace and Presidential Palace to demand Tritura (those are three public's demand: ban Indonesian communist party, reform the cabinet, and reduce the price?!). Soekarno was forced to sign the Supersemar document (or wasn't it?). On March 11, 1966, Soekarno might (or might not) sign a letter giving the Army commander Lt. Gen.Suharto authority to take whatever measures he "deemed necessary" to restore order to the chaotic situation during the Indonesian killings of 1965–66.

Some might think that Arifin C Noer worked as a propaganda film specialist. His film, Pengkhianatan G-30-S PKI (my friend, Nayla, discusses this film extensively in her thesis) frequently is read as a propaganda text. But modern eyes reveal a contradictory account. As for Djakarta 66, I feel that our reading on Arifin C Noer's film should be extended radically. Djakarta 66 is 135 minutes long film, with almost one hour of its original version was cut by authority for reason of provoking new radicalism to students. Written by Bur Rasuanto (who had opportunity to read Cornell paper prior of writing the script) and Arifin C Noer himself, the movie presents critical version of 1966 Supersemar.

The key feature of Noer's work is his distinctive approach to historical genre and Indonesian critical history, in addition to his mastery over visual/cinematic languages. His Pengkhianatan is not only ghost in Indonesian political history, but also the ghost for Indonesian cinema as a few cineaste can go beyond his ouvre. His Djakarta 66 goes further as his cinematic and technical quality will make contemporary films look lame.

Working with unlimited budget (but super tight supervision by Soeharto himself), Djakarta 66 is surprisingly a challenging text for New Order History. Portraying the crisis in the Soekarno administration and the conflict inside the 1966 student movement, the film shows Soeharto as a poor social climber whose speech reminds me of current Indonesian president. Soekarno, on the other hand is portrayed very strong and impressive, giving very convincing version of the 1966 'coup d'etat'. Thus, Djakarta 66 is important text, non only in the context of its narrative as a historical document, but how the 1966 is understood by Indonesian community, but most importantly, I think is how Arifin C Noer as a filmmaker inserted his personal vision of history and cinema in his 'film pesanan' (customised film, made by New Order's order and money).

If one reads it against the grain, Djakarta 1966 is a mocking text, showing Soeharto as you-know-who: a Javanese military with hidden agenda in his back. He worked very hard (too hard) to be in power --with his limited resources and intelligence. Young filmmakers should learn from him: historia magistra vitae, history is the teacher of life.
